Impact Label

Transparency

Sustainability is deep in our DNA. All our products are made locally from eco-friendly materials that we have chosen with care. We believe it is important to be open and honest. We have therefore had the impact of all our products independently calculated by Emissa using a Life Cycle Analysis. This impact is shown on our materials page and visible by scanning the QR code with our products. In addition, we now have a DPP (Digital Product Passport) of 5 products.

Life Terra

CO₂ compensation

Our products are made locally in the Netherlands with GRS-certified recycled materials from Europe. This has already reduced the CO₂ emissions of our products considerably. But like any production, we still emit CO₂. That is why we plant new trees back in the Netherlands through Life Terra. We do this not only to offset our emissions, but also because we consider a green living environment and clean air important.

MADE out of

Sustainable materials

MADE Out Of stands for the special stories behind all our products. Because of our circular approach, we deal smarter with raw materials and waste. Using organic, recycled and upcycled materials creates new, unique products with a limited ecological footprint. For example, an old woollen jumper becomes a new laptop sleeve made of felt and discarded paper regains a function in our modular notebook.

Fairly produced

All our products are made with love in our own workshop, Makers Lokaal, This way we can guarantee a local and social production process.

In our inclusive sewing atelier, people with employment disabilities are given the opportunity to be part of our business process in a safe and warm working environment and find new employment prospects.

From literally sketching in my attic room and reading up on all possible materials, to the first production. And now?
