Because every tree has a meaning for its environment and the world. We want to preserve the value of this wood and convey and document its meaning. We see the wood as a valuable harvest for our environment that everyone can enjoy. That's why we buy these trees, dry them and process them by hand so that we can make beautiful valuable products from them. So you not only have a snack board in your hands, but also a years-old and special story.

Our wood of the future has already been oiled. To keep the board as beautiful as possible and to make it last a long time, we recommend re-oiling the board at least once a month. Use a thin, odorless and tasteless oil, such as grape seed oil. The board can be cleaned with warm water and detergent. It is important that you dry the board immediately after washing. Rub the oil into the board until the board no longer absorbs anything. The sustainable snack board is not suitable for the dishwasher!
