Our recycled wool felt is an innovative material that is soft, strong and sustainable, and contributes to a circular economy. Old textiles are collected and processed into a strong, dense material: new wool felt. This process minimizes waste and extends the life of materials.
Our apple leather is made from waste residues from the juice industry. This material is vegan and sustainable, and the developer is continuously working on increasing its positive impact and aims to make it fully circular in the future.
Compound:
Recycled wool felt: 50% recycled wool fibres (Post Consumer), 30% RWS certified wool, 20% PE. The material has the Global Recycled Standard quality mark.
Vegan apple leather: 26% apple pulp, 16% cotton, 20% PL, 38% PU.
The material is 31% biobased, PETA approved and USDA certified. -
Our products are designed by MADE out of and are handmade in our own studio in Oud-Beijerland. Here, everything revolves around craftsmanship and social impact. A great workplace where talent is given the space to grow.
By producing in the Netherlands, we are assured of good working conditions, craftsmanship, fair wages and we significantly reduce our CO₂ emissions.

Upcycle: By reusing apple waste and old textiles, we reduce waste management costs and environmental damage by skipping the initial polluting production processes.
CO₂ emissions : By reusing residual waste and our materials are produced in Europe, we have lower CO₂ emissions* due to shorter transport distances. Products made from recycled wool felt and vegan apple leather emit on average 60% less CO₂ than comparable products from the Far East.

Social impact : In our local studio we offer a pleasant workplace where talent is given the space to grow. We stand for fair wages and inclusivity.
Compensation : Unfortunately, we do not yet produce CO₂-free. With the contribution of your order and that of others, we plant trees on Dutch territory, in collaboration with Life Terra.
